Step 1: Measure & Mark (5 minutes)
- Measure the area or component requiring rubber sheeting
- Add 5-10mm extra for trimming and adjustment
- Mark cutting lines with chalk or marker pen on the rubber surface
- Use a straight edge or template for complex shapes
Step 2: Cut the Rubber (10 minutes)
- For 1.5mm-6mm thickness: Use sharp scissors or utility knife with fresh blade
- For 7mm-15mm thickness: Use heavy-duty utility knife, score multiple times
- For 16mm-25mm thickness: Use Stanley knife or band saw for clean cuts
- Cut on a stable surface with protective backing underneath
- For circles: Use compass cutter or hole saw
